1. Who we are
Parikshak is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website and the Service. This policy is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 in mind.
2. What we collect
Account data: name, work email, organisation and plan. Billing data: invoice details and GST information. Usage data: feature use, credit consumption and basic device and log information. Website data: pages visited and technical details such as browser type. Support messages you send us.
3. What stays on your machine
Test cases, run history, screenshots, video evidence and saved credentials are stored in an encrypted local database on your computer. We do not receive them unless you use a feature that sends content to the AI gateway or you send them to support.
4. How we use data
To provide and secure the Service, meter credits, bill you, give support, improve the product, and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal data.
5. AI processing
When you use AI features, the content needed for that request is sent to our gateway and onward to an AI provider to produce the result. Do not include data in tests that you are not allowed to share with processors.
6. Analytics and cookies
We may use Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the website is used. These tools may set cookies or record anonymised interaction data, including session replays with sensitive fields masked. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
7. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, payments, analytics, AI providers) under confidentiality terms, and with authorities when the law requires.
8. Retention and security
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as long as the law requires afterwards. We use encryption in transit and reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.
9. Your rights
Under applicable law you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Write to us using the contact details in the footer and we will respond within a reasonable period.
10. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed at children.

We will post updates here and change the date above. Material changes will be notified by email.
